Vern Bailey Podcaster-Storyteller

“What is the best story? The one that is told.”

Vern Bailey, Podcaster, Storyteller, Writer, and retired Educator holds a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Central Michigan University, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Georgia State University in Education. While teaching Literature, Language Arts, and Reading, Ms. Bailey incorporated storytelling in her daily lessons. Since her retirement from education in 2017, Ms. Bailey has shared stories with various organizations to include professional teacher associations, libraries, early learning centers, senior centers, book clubs, birthday celebrations, & various storytelling organizations, just to name a few.

Ms. Bailey is a member of Kuumba Storytellers of Georgia, where she has held Board positions as chair of the Professional Development committee, Treasurer, and co-chair of the hospitality committee. She is also a member of Georgia Storytelling Network, and Southern Crescent Storytellers of Georgia.
