Salim (a.k.a) The Barefoot Sage, is a dancer, storyteller, and spoken word artist. He specializes in traditional and original folktales with a hint of percussion along with a little song and dance. Originally coming from Chicago, Salim has been sharing tales since 1999. He got his bachelor’s degree in performing arts from Columbia College. Salim also holds a master of library science degree from Clark Atlanta University.
